Hisao Iijima

Hisao Iijima (Tokyo) joined KKR in 2014 and is a Managing Director on the Private Equity team. He is on the Board of Directors of Marelli Holdings and Koki Holdings (formerly Hitachi Koki). Mr. Iijima was also previously involved with KKR’s investment in PHC Holdings. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Iijima was with Carlyle Group as a vice president and subsequently, Carlyle Group portfolio company, Tsubaki Nakashima. From 2001 to 2007, Mr. Iijima was a director at UBS Investment Banking, based in London and Tokyo, where he focused on consumer products and the retail sector. From 1999 to 2001, he worked at Mitsubishi Corporation. He holds a B.A. in Law from the Keio University.
