John F. Bookout
Managing Director, Joined KKR in 2008

John F. Bookout III (Houston) joined KKR in 2008 and is a member of the Energy & Infrastructure business. At KKR, Mr. Bookout has played a leading role in the Firm’s investment in East Resources and Hilcorp Resources. He currently serves on the board of McDermott International. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Bookout was a Director of McKinsey & Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Rice University and an M.B.A. from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Mr. Bookout serves as a board member of the Baylor College of Medicine.

Edward Brandman
Managing Director, Chief Information Officer, Joined KKR in 2007

Ed Brandman (New York) joined KKR in 2007 and is the Firm’s Chief Information Officer. He currently serves on the board of directors at Ipreo. Prior to KKR, Mr. Brandman worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was a Managing Director in the Advisory Services group, focused on technology strategies to support capital markets and trading activities for clients in financial services. He was also previously a Managing Partner at OMT Partners LLC, a boutique advisory firm and founded and served as the CEO of Renaissance Trading Technologies, a technology firm focused on trading solutions for the NYSE/NASDAQ markets. He received a B.A. from Rutgers College.

Jim Burns
Managing Director, Head, High Net Worth, Joined KKR in 2010

Jim Burns (New York) joined KKR in 2010 and is a member of the Client & Partner Group, where he leads KKR’s High Net Worth business. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Burns was a Managing Director in the Private Wealth Management Division of Morgan Stanley, where he worked for nearly thirteen years and held a variety of positions, most recently as Head of the Eastern United States for Private Wealth Management. Mr. Burns holds a B.A., Phi Beta Kappa, from Emory University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Mr. Burns is involved with Student Sponsor Partners and is a Trustee of the McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Rex Chung
Managing Director, Joined KKR in 2008

Rex Chung (Hong Kong) joined KKR in 2008 and is the head of KKR Capital Markets Asia Ltd., a member of the Client & Partner Group, and part of KKR’s Korea team. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Chung spent 16 years at UBS Investment Bank and its predecessor firms (including SG Warburg) in both the equity and investment banking divisions. Prior to that, he was an analyst and officer for Seoul Securities Co., Ltd. based in Seoul and New York. Mr. Chung holds a B.Soc.Sc. from the University of Ottawa and an M.A. from the Graduate School of International Studies of Yonsei University. Mr. Chung also serves as a board member or trustee for several nonprofit organizations, including Greenwich Academy and the Fencers Club and active with other charitable causes including the Hong Kong International School, Phillips Exeter Academy, and the Korean American Community Foundation.

Claire Farley
Managing Director, Joined KKR in 2011

Claire Farley (Houston) joined KKR in 2011 and is a Managing Director with KKR’s Energy & Infrastructure business. Prior to joining KKR, Ms. Farley co-founded RPM Energy, LLC, a privately-owned oil and gas exploration and development company. Previously, she was with Jefferies Randall & Dewey, Texaco, Intelligent Diagnostics Corporation, and Trade-Ranger Inc. Ms. Farley holds a B.S. from Emory University. She serves on the board of directors of Encana, Inc. and of FMC Technologies, Inc.

Alex Fletcher
Managing Director, Head, EMEA Client & Partner Group, Joined KKR in 2009

Alex Fletcher (London) joined KKR in 2009 as head of KKR’s EMEA Client & Partner Group. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Fletcher spent nearly ten years with the Goldman Sachs Group, most recently as Head of Goldman Sachs Asset Management EMEA Sales. Previously, Mr. Fletcher worked with JP Morgan Investment Management. Mr. Fletcher holds a B.A. with honors from Exeter University and also studied at La Sorbonne.

Robert D. Gottlieb
Managing Director, Chief Global Human Resources Officer, Joined KKR in 2007

Bob Gottlieb (New York) joined KKR in 2007 and is the Firm’s Chief Human Resources Officer. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Gottlieb was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs where he served in a variety of human resource management, operational and administrative roles. He was previously a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and an operations executive at Bloomingdale’s. He holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Tony Haas
Managing Director, Joined KKR in 2003

Anthony C. Hass (New York) joined KKR in 2003 and is a member of KKR’s Client & Partner Group. Mr. Hass is involved in institutional investor coverage and capital raising activities. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Hass was with Deutsche Bank, Bankers Trust and Lehman Brothers. Mr. Hass holds a B.A. from Trinity College and an M.B.A. from the Anderson School at UCLA.

Edward Law
Managing Director, Head, European Equity Capital Markets, Joined KKR in 2010

Edward Law (London) joined KKR in 2010 and is a member of KKR Capital Markets, serving as head of European Equity Capital Markets. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Law was head of Western European Equity Capital Markets at Deutsche Bank. He has also worked in the Equity Capital Markets team at Citigroup Global Markets and at James Capel. He holds a B.A. with honors from Exeter University.

Amy Lesch
Managing Director, Head, North America Client and Partner Group, Joined KKR in 2009

Amy Lesch (New York) joined KKR in 2009 and is a member of the Client & Partner Group, overseeing Consultant Relations. She also leads the North American relationship management team. Prior to joining KKR, she was a Managing Director and Global Head of Consultant Relations for Citi Capital Advisors (formerly Citi Alternative Investments). Previously, she worked at Deutsche Asset Management and State Street Global Advisors. She holds a B.S. from the University of Rochester and a J.D. from New England School of Law.

Xiang Li
Managing Director, Joined KKR in 2009

Xiang Li (Beijing) joined KKR in 2009 and is a member of the Private Equity platform. He has been actively involved in the investments in CICC and VATS. Prior to joining KKR, he was a Managing Director of Goldman, Sachs & Co.’s China Investment Banking team where he was involved in a broad array of financing and M&A transactions. Mr. Li also worked for over ten years with a central government ministry in China. Mr. Li holds a B.A. from the School of Business, the People’s University of China, and an M.S. with distinction from the School of Management, University of Southampton.

Henry McVey
Managing Director, Head of Global Macro and Asset Allocation, Joined KKR in 2011

Henry H. McVey (New York) joined KKR in 2011 and is head of the Global Macro and Asset Allocation team. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. McVey was a Managing Director, Lead Portfolio Manager and head of Global Macro and Asset Allocation at Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM). Prior to that he was a Portfolio Manager at Fortress Investment Group and Chief U.S. Investment Strategist for Morgan Stanley. While at Morgan Stanley, Mr. McVey was also a member of the asset allocation committee, and the top ranked asset management and brokerage analyst by Institutional Investor for four consecutive years before becoming the firm's strategist. He earned his B.A. from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. McVey is a board member of the TEAK Fellowship and a member of the St. Christopher’s School and Lincoln Center Investment Committees.

Shusaku Minoda
Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer of KKR Japan, Joined KKR in 2007

Shusaku Minoda (Tokyo) joined KKR in 2007 and is CEO of KKR Japan. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Minoda was Managing Executive Officer in charge of the Global Investment Banking Group of Mizuho Corporate Bank and a member of the bank’s management committee. Previously he was Managing Director in charge of primary and secondary bond trading, derivatives, structured products, and Japanese equity and research at IBJ International PLC in London. Mr. Minoda is a graduate of Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo.

David Rockecharlie
Managing Director, Joined KKR in 2011

David C. Rockecharlie (Houston) joined KKR in 2011 and is a Managing Director in KKR’s Energy & Infrastructure business. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Rockecharlie co-founded RPM Energy, LLC, a privately-owned oil and gas exploration and development company. Previously, Mr. Rockecharlie served as Co-Head of Jefferies & Company’s Energy Investment Banking Group and before that was an executive with El Paso Corp., where he led a variety of corporate activities. Mr. Rockecharlie received an A.B., magna cum laude, from Princeton University. Mr. Rockecharlie and his family actively support a number of non-profit organizations, including the Pediatric Surgery Department of Texas Children's Hospital.

Jeff Rowbottom
Managing Director, Co-Head, North America Capital Markets, Joined KKR in 2009

Jeff Rowbottom (New York) joined KKR in 2009 and is a member of KKR Capital Markets, serving as co-head for North America. At KKR, he has played a significant role in arranging financings for portfolio companies including TASC, Del Monte, Academy Sports + Outdoor, First Data, NXP, and US Foods. Prior to joining KKR he was a Managing Director and head of U.S. High Yield Capital Markets at Barclays Capital. Previously, he was a senior member of the Goldman Sachs High Yield Syndicate desk. He received a B.S. from the State University of New York at Albany and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.

Kaveh Samie
Managing Director, Head of KKR Middle East and North Africa, Joined KKR in 2011

Kaveh Samie (Dubai/London) joined KKR in 2011 and is a member of the Client & Partner Group, overseeing the Middle East and North Africa. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Samie was Managing Director and Global Head of Equities for HSBC Middle East and North Africa. Previously, he was with Citigroup, most recently as Regional Head of Equities for Middle East and North Africa, covering Sovereign Wealth Funds, Government Entities, and Family Offices. Before that he worked for Oppenheimer & Co., Prudential Securities and Bank Julius Baer.

Alisa A. Wood
Managing Director, Joined KKR in 2003

Alisa A. Wood (New York) joined KKR in 2003 and is a member of the Client & Partner Group. She has been actively involved in the Firm’s global capital raising activities along with the creation of KKR Private Equity Investors. Currently, she heads the product specialist area globally for all private market activities and leads the Firm’s capital raising efforts in Latin America. Prior to joining KKR, Ms. Wood was with Deutsche Bank’s Private Equity Group where she worked on the institutional placement and structuring of private equity, venture capital, real estate and securitized debt products. She holds a B.A. from Columbia College and an M.B.A from Columbia Graduate School of Business. Ms. Wood currently sits on the Columbia Business School Private Equity Board as well as the Convent of the Sacred Heart Alumnae Board and chairs its Development Committee.
