Christopher Lee (New York) joined KKR in 2006 and is General Counsel for the Americas and Corporate Secretary. Mr. Lee's responsibilities cover the firm's holding company and balance sheet, investment activity in the Americas, and certain headquarters functions, including litigation, employment, and general corporate matters. From 2006 to 2009, Mr. Lee was General Counsel for KKR Private Equity Investors, L.P. (Euronext Amsterdam: KPE). Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Lee was a corporate attorney at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. He has a B.A., Cum Laude, from Yale University and a J.D., Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, from Columbia University School of Law.
