Scott Karnas
Managing Director, Co-Head of Finance
Scott T. Karnas (New York) joined KKR in 2007 and currently serves as KKR's Co-Head of Finance. Previous to this role, Mr. Karnas served as (i) KKR's Global Controller for KKR's Private Markets Management Company and (ii) KKR's Corporate Controller. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Karnas was a controller in General Electric's commercial finance division. Previous to General Electric, he was a director in KPMG's audit and transaction services practices. Mr. Karnas graduated from Villanova University with a B.S. in Accountancy and earned his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of New York and is licensed in the state of New Jersey as a Certified Public Accountant.
