Peggy Poon

Peggy Poon (New York) joined KKR in 2024 and is Treasurer. In this role, Ms. Poon is responsible for the firm’s funding strategy, including bank financing and debt capital markets activities, as well as oversight of rating agency relationships. Ms. Poon joined Global Atlantic in July 2020 in a similar role and will continue to support the Treasury function at Global Atlantic concurrently with her responsibilities at KKR. Prior to GA, Ms. Poon spent 12 years at S&P Global Ratings, where she was a director in the North American financial services ratings group. As a senior life insurance analyst, she led criteria projects, authored research and represented S&P’s analytical views at industry conferences in addition to overseeing a portfolio of insurance credits. Ms. Poon is a CFA charterholder and graduated magna cum laude from Boston University with a double major in Economics and International Relations.
