Elizabeth Seeger (Washington, D.C.) joined KKR in 2009 to help oversee the consideration of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues throughout KKR's investment process, including the management of KKR’s ESG-focused value creation programs for its portfolio companies. She is also a member of KKR’s Global Impact team. Ms. Seeger was previously a project manager in the corporate partnerships program of Environmental Defense Fund (EDF). Prior to EDF, she was a consultant with the Corporate Executive Board (CEB), where she advised companies from a broad range of industries in Europe and the United States. Before CEB, Ms. Seeger was an associate at the Environmental Law Institute, a non-profit organization focused on environmental law and policy research and education. She is a 2013 Aspen Institute First Movers Fellow and became a member of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board in 2017. Ms. Seeger has close to 20 years of experience working on corporate environmental and social issues and earned a B.A. with honors from the University of Chicago and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
