Emilia Sherifova (New York) joined KKR in 2019 and is the firm’s Chief Information & Innovation Officer. Ms. Sherifova joined KKR from Northwestern Mutual, where she was chief technology officer and head of enterprise architecture and engineering and was a member of the Northwestern executive leadership team. Prior to Northwestern Mutual, Ms. Sherifova was the chief technology officer for the personal finance consumer startup, LearnVest, a PE-backed FinTech startup. She also led technology for a leading ad tech startup. Earlier in her career she spent 13 years in various leadership roles in OTC Markets Group. She holds a graduate degree with a concentration in International Business and Finance from Columbia University, as well as an advanced certification in software development from New York University.
