Monica Mandelli (New York) joined KKR in 2015 and is Head of Latin America for the firm's Client and Partner Group. Previously she was Global Head of the High Net Worth Group. She is also a member of KKR’s Capital Markets Coordination Committee and Global Grants Investment Committee. Prior to joining KKR, Ms. Mandelli worked at Goldman Sachs for seventeen years in investment banking, where she held various leadership positions, most recently as managing director and global head of Goldman Sachs' family office coverage and strategic relationship management group. Previously, Ms. Mandelli was head of Goldman Sachs’ publishing and information services sector and the theatrical exhibition sector, within the technology, media and telecom group, having broad coverage responsibility for many media clients. She was also co-head of Goldman Sachs' firm-wide women's network. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Ms. Mandelli worked at Merrill Lynch in London in their mergers & acquisitions group, and at McKinsey & Company in New York. Ms. Mandelli holds a B.S. and an M.S., summa cum laude, in Economics and Social Sciences from Universita' Bocconi, and an M.B.A, with Distinction, from Harvard Business School. She serves on the Women's Leadership Board at the Harvard Kennedy School, the Bocconi Alumni Association Board, the Board of Trustees of Horace Mann School, and the Harvard Business School Club of New York Board. Ms. Mandelli is also Chair of the Victoria & Albert Museum Americas Foundation, and Vice-Chair of the Board of Endeavor Italy. In 2019, Ms. Mandelli was knighted by the President of Italy as “Cavaliere della Repubblica”, the highest honor bestowed by the Italian Republic.
