Karen Zhang
Karen Zhang (Hong Kong) joined KKR in 2019 and is a Director on the Private Equity team where she heads technology investing in China. Ms. Zhang holds almost two decades of venture capital and private equity experiences in China, with more than a decade of experience in internet and technology investing. Prior to KKR, she led internet and technology investment at General Atlantic in Greater China. She was previously an executive director and investment committee member in Baidu’s M&A and investment department, overseeing investment activities and portfolios, mainly in mobile media and contents, consumer Internet and selected SaaS sectors. Ms. Zhang holds an M.B.A from Columbia Business School and Bachelor of Economics from Renmin University of China.
