Allan Levine is Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Global Atlantic and a Partner at KKR. Prior to becoming Executive Chairman in 2025, he served as Chief Executive Officer for more than a decade. Over more than two decades, as Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Levine's vision and strategic direction influenced all phases of Global Atlantic’s global growth since its founding as the Goldman Sachs Reinsurance Group in 2004, its separation from Goldman Sachs as an independent company in 2013, and its sale as a majority-owned subsidiary in 2021 and then a wholly owned subsidiary of KKR & Co. Inc. (NYSE: KKR) in 2023. His leadership has been instrumental in shaping the company’s culture and core values, with a focus on integrity, teamwork, and the importance of building long-term client relationships. Prior to co-founding the Goldman Sachs Reinsurance Group in 2004, Mr. Levine was co-head of firmwide strategy at Goldman Sachs, where he became a partner in 2006. Mr. Levine serves on the Board of Directors of the American Council of Life Insurers, Everest Group Ltd (NYSE: EG), and the Partnership for New York City. He is also a member of the Geneva Association, an international think tank of insurance and reinsurance CEOs. Mr. Levine also serves on the Board of the Boys & Girls Club of Nantucket, where he is vice chair, and is a member of the Advisory Board for the Tamer Center for Social Enterprise at Columbia Business School. He was previously a Trustee of the Hun School of Princeton. Mr. Levine earned an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a B.S. from Miami University.
