Giacomo Picco

Giacomo Picco (New York) joined KKR in 2021 and is a Managing Director. Mr. Picco focuses on providing principal investments and capital market solutions for financial sponsors and corporate borrowers across the capital structure. He also leads the firm’s effort in structured inventory and receivable financings. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Picco was at Sound Point Capital where he was head of capital solutions and alternative lending as well as portfolio manager for the strategic capital fund. Previously, Mr. Picco was a partner and co-head of research at KS Capital Partners. Mr. Picco also worked in private equity for the Carlyle Group and as a banker at Lazard Freres in their mergers and acquisitions group. Mr. Picco has served as independent chairman and board member for private and public companies in a variety of industries. Mr. Picco earned a B.A. in History from Columbia University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
