Giovanni Spingardi

Giovanni Spingardi (London) joined KKR in 2020 and is a Director on the Asset-Based Finance team within the firm’s Credit business, focused on investments across the capital structure in financial services, specialty finance, non-performing loans (NPLs), opportunistic real estate, and other asset-backed opportunities. Mr. Spingardi serves on the Board of Directors of Hipoges and Jaja Finance, and leads the NPLs investment strategy across Europe. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Spingardi was part of the distressed and special situations group at Bain Capital focusing on non-performing loans, specialty finance and real estate acquisitions. Mr. Spingardi started his career at Goldman Sachs, where he was predominantly focused on mergers and acquisitions for financial institutions. Mr. Spingardi holds a BSc in Economics and Finance from Bocconi University.
