James McIntyre

James McIntyre (San Francisco) joined KKR in 2025 and is a Principal in the KKR Credit Legal Department. In this role, Mr. McIntyre is focused on restructuring and recapitalization transactions. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. McIntyre worked as an associate in the financial restructuring group at Milbank LLP, where he represented companies and creditors in reorganization cases and out-of-court workouts. Prior to that, he was a law clerk to the Honorable Marvin Isgur of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas. Mr. McIntyre holds a J.D., with high honors, from the George Washington University Law School and a B.A. from the College of Charleston.
