Ravi Rajiv Upadhyay

Ravi Rajiv Upadhyay (Gurugram) joined KKR in 2024 and is the General Counsel for KKR Gurugram. He brings more than 19 years of experience spanning asset management legal, private-side funds, and equity and credit transactions. He works closely with leaders across Finance, Operations, HR, and other functions to deliver practical, business-oriented legal support, guide contractual matters, and help align internal policies and processes with applicable regulatory requirements. Before joining KKR, Ravi held roles at Ameriprise Financial Services, Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan, and Anand & Anand, where he built cross-border legal workflows, managed intellectual property matters, and negotiated high-value contracts. He holds degrees in law, business, and engineering, and is also a registered Patent Agent and a SEBI-registered Investment Advisor.
