Wei Xin

Wei Xin (Hong Kong) joined KKR in 2014 and is a Managing Director on the KKR Capital Markets (KCM) team. Mr. Xin has led a broad spectrum of debt and equity financings for KKR’s new investments and portfolio companies across the Asia Pacific region. In 2019, Mr. Xin was seconded to the KCM Europe team, where he contributed to several strategic financing initiatives. He currently oversees financing activities across a wide range of Asian markets, playing a key role in structuring and executing complex transactions that support KKR’s investments in the region. Since joining KCM, Mr. Xin has worked on a variety of financing for companies, including Marelli, Eurokids, Gland Pharma, Haier, PHC Holdings, Seiyu, Hitachi Kokusai Electric, and ADNOC Oil Pipelines, among others. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Xin was with J.P. Morgan Securities Asia Pacific (Hong Kong), where he was responsible for illiquid credit trading and private financing across the region. He was previously part of the principal investment team at Daiwa Securities Group. Mr. Xin holds a B.A. from Waseda University in Japan and is a CFA Charterholder.
