Our Dublin Story
KKR’s presence in Ireland began with the acquisition of Avoca Capital, a leading European credit investment manager founded in 2002. The transaction, which closed in 2014, marked the foundation of the firm’s investment business in Ireland and established Dublin as a key hub within KKR’s investment platform.
Over time, KKR has expanded its Irish operations across credit investing, product strategies, fund management, capital markets, and regulated financial services activities.
Today, Ireland is home to several regulated KKR entities overseen by the Central Bank of Ireland, while Dublin also supports broader functions across Finance, Operations, Technology, and Client Services as part of KKR’s long-term global growth strategy.
