Sanjay Kothari (New York) joined KKR in 2020 and is a Managing Director on the Technology team and heads Engineering teams for KKR Credit, KKR Capital Markets and the Global Macro Balance Sheet & Risk teams. Mr. Kothari was previously with AQR Capital Management, where he was co-head of trading technology. Prior to AQR, he was head of electronic trading technology for the global arbitrage trading group at RBC. He was previously global head of Delta One technology at Citi Group and held various leadership roles in the areas of proprietary and derivatives trading and risk management technology at UBS in Asia. Mr. Kothari also spent 11 years at Goldman Sachs, where he was global co-head of sales and trading technology for the combined equities and FICC divisions. He holds a Bachelor in Engineering from the University of Mumbai (Ranked 3rd in class) and a Certificate with Distinction from C-DAC.
