Carlos Galvez
Managing Director, Credit Credit San Francisco
Carlos Galvez (San Francisco) joined KKR in 2015 and is a Managing Director in the firm's Credit business, where he leads workouts and restructuring for the Leveraged Credit funds and portfolios. He sits on the board of directors of several portfolio companies, including Sirva Holdings and SI Group. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Galvez worked as a special situations and event-driven analyst at Overland Advisors. Prior to Overland Advisors, Mr. Galvez worked at Lincoln International as a vice president advising on mergers and acquisition transactions, sales of distressed assets and leveraged buyouts. Mr. Galvez holds a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a B.A. and B.S. in Mathematics and Economics from Stanford University.
