David Bauer
Managing Director, Head of Global Equity Capital Markets & Co-Investment and Partnership
David Bauer (New York) joined KKR in 2019 and heads the Global Equity Capital Markets and the Co-Investment and Partnership teams within KKR Capital Markets. Mr. Bauer's teams help lead the origination, structuring, and execution of IPOs, sell-downs, private and pre-IPO placements, hybrid-equity solutions, derivatives, margin loans, and other equity related solutions for KKR and non-KKR owned companies. The Co-Investments and Partnerships team facilitates private capital investments and transactions across all KKR's asset classes, globally. Mr. Bauer is also responsible for maintaining direct investment relationships with leading global pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurers, asset managers and family offices. Before joining KKR, Mr. Bauer spent 11 years at Goldman Sachs, where he was a managing director and the head of the Americas equity syndicate desk. In this role, he led the execution of all public equity transactions across industry sectors. Prior to that, Mr. Bauer led Goldman Sachs' consumer/retail vertical in equity capital markets and worked as an industry M&A banker. Mr. Bauer holds a B.A. from Georgetown University.
