Emily Spain (Washington, DC) joined KKR in 2021 and is a member of the Global Public Affairs team, focusing on engaging with key constituencies, assessing public policy and integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) into the firm’s investments. Prior to joining KKR, Ms. Spain worked for over fifteen years in Congress, serving as a Chief of Staff to a U.S. Senator – and other high level roles handling communications, policy, and politics. Ms. Spain holds a B.A. from the University of California Los Angeles.
