Felix Gernburd (Menlo Park) joined KKR in 2010 and leads the Consumer industry team within KKR’s Private Equity platform. Mr. Gernburd is currently a member of the Board of Directors of 1-800 Contacts, The Bay Club, Groundworks, Neighborly, nexeye, and Varsity Brands and was involved with KKR’s investments in Academy Sports + Outdoors, The Bountiful Company (formerly The Nature’s Bounty Co.), Fleet Farm, kdc/one, National Vision, and Reliance Retail. Prior to joining KKR, he was with Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he was involved in a variety of merger, acquisition and financing transactions in the consumer, retail and services sectors. He holds an Honors B.A. with distinction from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.
