James Newman
Managing Director
James Newman (London) joined KKR in 2014 and is a Managing Director on the Credit team. Mr. Newman is a portfolio manager for the firm’s European High Yield strategy, a member of the European Leveraged Credit Investment Committee and responsible for the European Credit Trading business. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Newman was at JP Morgan for twelve years, where he worked in the markets division covering bank and fund clients across leveraged credit products. Mr. Newman began his career at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein where he was focused on corporate and structured credit for UK clients. He received a BSc Honours degree in Business Administration from the University of Bath.
