Yasuyuki Goto

Yasuyuki Goto (Tokyo) joined KKR in 2021 as a Principal on the Global Client Solutions team. He has been involved in the firm’s fundraising activities in Japan. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Goto was with TransPacific Group Asia Ltd in Hong Kong to cover institutional investors' relationship and fundraising activities in Japan as a third-party placement agent. Before that, he worked at the Blackstone Group in Japan for three and half years for the firm's fundraising and client service in the country, focusing on private funds. Prior to that, Mr. Goto was with PIMCO Japan Ltd. for three years in its account management group. He also worked at Macquarie Capital Securities (Japan) for two and half years in its equity research department. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Brown University and a Master of Arts in International Economics and Finance from Johns Hopkins University – Nanjing University Center for Chinese and American Studies.
