Yi Yang

Yi Yang (Shanghai) joined KKR in 2016 and is a member of KKR Capstone. He supports KKR portfolio companies in China. Prior to joining KKR Capstone, Mr. Yang was with McKinsey & Company where he was a member of McKinsey's RTS practice, helping multinational clients undergo large transformation projects. Prior to that, Mr. Yang was a consultant at United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs. Mr. Yang has extensive experience in change management, post-merger integration, digitalization, branding and marketing across varies sectors including TMT, consumer goods, retail, and industrials. Mr. Yang holds an M.A. in Economics from University of Pennsylvania, and a B.A. in Economics from Tsinghua University.
