Aidan Corcoran (Dublin) joined KKR in 2014, and is a member of the Global Macro, Balance Sheet and Risk team, with responsibility for EMEA, and a Portfolio Manager for certain KKR investment funds. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Corcoran was Chief Economist at Avoca Capital for four years. Before joining Avoca, Mr. Corcoran was Adjunct Professor of Macroeconomics at Trinity College Dublin. Mr. Corcoran was awarded a Ph.D. by Trinity College Dublin for research on Macroeconomic Risk and International Financial Markets, advised by Philip Lane, and also holds a Master of Finance degree from the University of Freiburg, Germany, and a B.A. in Management Science and Information Systems Studies from Trinity College Dublin. Mr. Corcoran received several scholarships and awards, including a Foundation Scholarship from Trinity College Dublin, and scholarships from the German Academic Exchange Service and the Irish Research Council for the Humanities and Social Sciences.
