Health Care Growth

KKR's Health Care Strategic Growth strategy leverages KKR's deep health care expertise, sector relationships, track record of scaling companies, and extensive portfolio to identify and invest in businesses with innovative products or services and high-quality management teams. The strategy draws on the full set of capabilities of KKR's Health Care investment team and the broader KKR platform to help these businesses thrive and grow. We target opportunities in the Americas across various health care sub-sectors, including biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics ⁄ life science tools, providers, HCIT ⁄ informatics, and other services. Health Care Strategic Growth investments are opportunities in which KKR believes that we can help commercialize or further scale the underlying product(s) or service(s). We seek situations characterized by large potential markets and unmet needs and invest with a flexible approach, including minority and majority stakes, through which we can provide sufficient capital to allow companies to grow over time.

For decades, KKR has been investing globally across various health care sub-sectors. Beyond access to financial capital, KKR offers the companies with which we partner access to our health care industry expertise, broad network of relationships, active support in achieving organic and inorganic growth, and global reach. KKR also shares the insights that we have gained over time from managing our global Health Care Private Equity portfolio.

Since 2014, KKR has executed a number of transactions as part of the firm's health care growth equity strategy. Our current portfolio is accessible here.
